Sturdy hardwood storage is not only for people near the workshop. Through our private network of Amish shippers that has moved handcrafted furniture for generations, we deliver to homes in nearly every state and have already shipped our furniture to 49 of them.

For customers outside Tennessee, we build to your prints and specifications, and your local installer handles the fit. For projects near our Brentwood showroom, our own team measures and installs. Either way, the cabinets are built from the same hardwood, to the same weight-bearing standard.

We build in real hardwood such as hickory, oak, cherry, walnut, maple, and quarter-sawn white oak, each a genuine board with the density to carry weight rather than a printed panel that cannot. 

The finish adds the last layer of protection, guarding the wood against the scuffs and wear that storage pieces see constantly. We offer more than 200, each applied by hand and worked into the grain so the color holds and the surface resists daily use for decades rather than chipping at the first knock.

OUR STORY

Storage Was Where It Started

We are Kurt and Lisa Fuchs, and storage furniture is close to where this whole business began. When Kurt started working with Amish woodworkers in 2012, some of the first pieces were the solid wood dressers, hutches, and storage furniture that filled our Nolensville furniture store when it opened in 2017. 

Cabinetry grew from the same roots. When we opened The Amish House Cabinetry in Brentwood, storage built to carry real weight came with us, made by the same makers we have trusted from the beginning. Today, that same approach continues in our cabinetry, along with the dressers, hutches, and freestanding pieces that started it all.
